Default Anti(ish)-meta build.

Came up with the following build since the sin+r/p+r/p+mo/ meta came into play, pretty easily owns most of the meta players out there, and the monk+r/p type builds. Got to around r11 or so on the ladder using this build, now r18 since I havnt played HB in about a week. Anyways, giving the build away since the meta has gotten so dull, and I dont plan on playing much. Enjoy .

Player(you): N/A
Curses:12+1
Soul Reaping:12+1+1

Insidious Parasite
Faintheartedness
Reapers Mark
Parasatic Bond
Rend Enchantments
Soul Barbs
Signet of Lost Souls
Recall

Hero1: Monk/ele
Protection:12+1+1
Divine Favor:12+1

Reversal of Fortune
Mend Alignment
Shield of Regeneration
Guardian
Divine Intervention
Deny Hexes
Glyph of Lesser Energy
(Optional slot)

Hero2: Ritualist/any
Restoration:12+1+1
Channeling:12+1

Bloodsong
Essence Strike
Spirit Burn
Spirit Rift or Gaze From Beyond
Weapon of Remedy
Mend Body and Soul
Spirit Light
(optional)

Hero3: Usual R/P build.
Expertise:Rest+1
Beast Mastery:12+1+1
Spear Mastery:12

Barbed Spear
Poiousness Bite
Disrupting Lunge
Heal As One
Remedy Signet
Whirling Defense
Lightning Reflexes
Charm Animal

Notes:Build can take some time to get the hang of it. You should focus on solo capping shrines, and soloing their R/p's as they go to split. Send your R/P to solo cap shrines. Send the rit and monk to center/hench shrine, recall onto one of them all the time, if it comes down to 4v4 you can usually win pretty easy. PM me here if you have any questions.

This build sadly does lack splitting and an assassin can easily take out the monk, if the N/A is away and you can set your R/P to "Avoid Battles", when they have hexes.
It's very nice on The Beachhead as this map doesn't really favor splitting, but you usually lose to an opponent with the same experience but with the metabuild on other maps.

The build is meant to split..as the rit and monk are together most of the time, a sin cant easily take out the monk, unless your terrible at microing your heros say when their walking to a shrine, which is when you should always be watching for a sin to gank them .. Soul barbs is there in case the person sets their r/p to not attack and you can still kill it without insidious parasite, yet most players, even in the top10, wont bother setting their r/p to not attack..The build is meant to split, and if your saying it lacks splitting, then your not using it right, and if your monks are dying easily to sins, you obviously dont know how to micro your heroes.Anyways, like I said it takes time to learn the proper techniques of the build.

This build does work as i remember playing someone running it. It might of been you but basically the N/A cant be killed by a 'sin if hes gets insidious off and he can still kill you with the mass degen + soul barbs even if you dont attack. However I doubt its capabilities when faced with Sin Fire ele R/p Monk builds. Because that can just roll over your monk and rit while still having its r/p cap a shrine.

Hexes and ritualists AREN'T Meta?

Egads!

Brings barbs instead of soul barbs for massive damage with the pet + spear.

Yea, the sin+ele type builds can be a pain, but if your 3v3, you can shut down the sin, and just make sure your heroes are spread out and its gg......Never said the build was or wasnt 'meta', but barbs isnt worth taking with only 1 r/p, and the r/p is almost always just solo capping shrines anyway.

Well surely there's something better you can put on that bar than soul barbs like Price of Failure or Reckless.

Seeing as 'most' smart players will set their heroes to not attack when they have insidious parasite on them, price of failure or reckless haste would be pointless to have. Trust me, I've tried a lot of different combinations with that bar, with SS, reckless, ect..., the current bar has proved most effective.

But if they're not attacking, isn't this a good thing?

Why spend 5 hexes on making them not attack when 1 will suffice?

Put on multiple targets, I'm just saying I'm not seeing much use from soul barbs unless you're spamming hexes like crazy.

Edit ; just saying to take 1 extra anti-melee, not swapping the entire bar out.

You are spamming hexes like crazy though, and the extra dmg from soul barbs helps in a 4v4, 1v1 situation,ect..nothing really worth swapping out.
